Compression Socks and Driving

Today is national gridlock day! Everyone is heading to their hometowns for turkey and mashed potatoes. Usually, this includes at least a few hours driving there and back. Obviously, since they find the need to call it national gridlock day, you know it’s going to be crazier than usual in traffic. That means a few more hours of sitting in the car trying to find a clear channel on the radio or deciding what CD to play next.

That’s why it’s really important to wear some compression socks while driving; they keep circulation going in your legs. It’s really important to wear them when you know you’ll be sitting for long periods of time with no idea when you’ll be able to get off the freeway for your next pit stop.

Jobst support socks come in many colors and patterns for the more discerning dresser, or for the man whose mother-in-law will scrutinize him as soon as he leaves the vehicle. You can find great support socks that will look great even at the most formal Thanksgiving table.

Don’t compromise your legs and feet during gridlock day. Make sure you can keep your mind on the road and on singing that Kelly Clarkson song really loudly where no one else can hear you.
