Blood Flow To The Legs

Many of the problems we try and address at this blog are caused by troubled blood flow to the lower extremities like legs and feet. I read recently of the ways relaxation, including but not exclusive to keeping your legs elevated can keep blood flow more even. It turns out that while compression hoes and compression socks can be a big key to quality blood flow  through out the body.

The nervous system generally maintains a balance between its action oriented division and its rest and recovery division. Stress increases heart rate, blood pressure, and blood glucose levels and increases blood flow to the brain, heart, and skeletal muscles, including those in the legs. These effects are often increased by the release of stress hormones. Relaxation, on the other hand, reduces heart rate and blood pressure and routes blood away from the muscles and vital organs and toward the digestive system and the skin, and in turn towards the extremities. This increased blood flow away from the organs warms the skin and increases the amount of oxygen and nutrients available to the periphery of the body.

It is a key to generating healthier blood flow while you use the wide array of products to help deal with your foot and leg troubles.
