Taking Care of Your Feet Will Make You Want To Take Care of Your Feet

varicose vein stockingsNo, that’s not a riddle — just a simple truth. Think about it: if you put in the effort to do things like moisturize your feet and get pedicures, you’re more likely to take care of them in an even more lasting way — with compression hose and varicose vein stockings. A lot of people think compression hose and similar products benefit the condition of only their legs, but they also help circulation in the feet as well.

So, what should you be doing to take care of your feet? Well, as we mentioned above, moisturize and get pedicures. You don’t need to get them weekly, or even monthly — just maintain them regularly and visit a nail salon every few months.

Wear comfortable shoes. Shoes like high heels are only going to increase the amount of pressure and strain on your feet. If you’re going to wear them no matter what, try to limit the amount of time you spend in them.

Stretch! Do regular stretches with your feet to keep them from getting cramped up. Also, give them a good rubdown at least once a week — or have your significant other do it for you.
