New Compression Socks from Sigvaris
Sigvaris, a leader in compression garments, has been quite busy lately and popping up all over the news. Just a few weeks ago they teamed up with the Boston Red Socks to promote DVT awareness and now they are partnering with a few more athletes. They recently announced they will be supplying the NETS basketball team with socks from their Active Therapy line. More and more athletes are turning to compression socks to keep their legs happy and healthy. Compression socks help circulate blood which will bring more oxygen and nutrients to muscles and ease tension in tired legs.
Sigvaris has also teamed up with the Atlanta Falcons and the Indianapolis Colts for both the 2010 and 2011 seasons. If that wasn’t enough, the company has also released a new line of maternity socks. Sigvaris already has a line a maternity pantyhose but now have the Cotton Maternity Socks line. Pregnancy can cause varicose veins for many women. 30% of women who’ve had one pregnancy will develop them and 55% of those who’ve had two or more pregnancies will get varicose veins.
